Stinky Experience in Edmonton, Alberta writes this customer review about Common Scents Fragrances.
This was the worst cologne experience ever. From the moment my
coworker and I walked in (with business attire, I might add) the only
thing we got from the attendant was attitude from making him get out
of his chair.
He wouldn't let us smell most of the colognes we were
interested in, he continually reiterated that we were only going to
smell it and buy it online, and didn't lend any advice to our decision
because he didn't care.
Let me assure you that we were going to
buy cologne right then and there.
From there we went to [competition] where my coworker managed to get good
service and bought a gift set. I went back to purchase "very sexy"
from common scents (even without smelling it b/c I wanted a new
cologne).
Upon entering the store I got the same attitude. He wouldn't even let
me smell curves without a genuine assurance that I was going to
purchase it.
I asked if this is how he alienated all of his customers
(I was the only one in the store), and he told me to *. I was
absolutely taken back and left the store in a rage.
Never before have
I been so insulted in a store setting. Not that it really matters
because with the way it's being run, it isn't going to be open for
very much longer.

I went here over lunch to check out some christmas shopping.
I walked into the store and the sales rep came up to me and asked
very rudely "what do you want?"
i asked if she had any burberry for
men. the sales rep said which one? and i didn't remember the name so i
started to describe the bottle. the sales rep was very impatient and
said we don't have that.
I then saw Burberry Brit (the one i was
describing under the glass) i said oh thats the one! can i have you
spray a sample for me? she said extremely rudley "What? you haven't
smelt it before?" I replied with "no, thats why I asked" she said "we
have no samples of this."
i saw that there was a sample behind her on
the counter. i pointed it out and said so i can't smell that one? she
replied with "they are all broken" I appauled!
I said if you're not
going to help me, i can go somewhere else. She replied with OK. and
walked into the back.
It was the worst customer service i have ever
had. I was willing to spend over $100 on a product. they lost my
business and everyone else i can tell this too.
