Sue’s is the only shop in Winnipeg that carries a few better quality
lines (Eileen Fisher, Nine West) for larger sizes, as opposed to the
mall chain stores which carry only their own line of cheaply made
clothing. It’s great to have the opportunity to shop in person and try
on items rather than ordering everything from the United States,
although the selection of styles and sizes is extremely limited, and
prices are higher than they would be ordered from Neiman-Marcus. The
shop is tiny but with well-appointed fitting rooms. It’s extremely
uncomfortable to browse, however. The last time I visited I was the
only customer and had three salesclerks silently and fixatedly staring
at me. I went home and made an online order to Neiman-Marcus.
