On Sat June 12 [2010] I purchased 2 wraps and some salads from Remark, where
I have been a customer since the store opened, the quality is always
good, The person who I bought the wrap for had eaten half of it when
they realized the tomato that comes with it was half rotten and
covered in mold, needless to say they did not finish it. I took it
back to the store and asked for a Manager one of the girls from the
front went to a manager at the back and came back and informed me that
because the tomato was a garnish and the wrap was half eaten ( they
said most people don't eat the tomato)are you kidding me!, that they
could not do anything about it. I was shocked at their attitude, I and
my family members have spent a lot of money in that store, it is not
the price of the wrap, a simple we are sorry and a little bit of
concern would have gone a long way, it is a horrible way to be
treating loyal customer's. because the store is always well run I was
shocked at their customer service.
Offended in London, Ont. writes this customer review about Remark Fresh Markets.
My wife and I went shopping at the Remark store in London. My wife
was shopping for some BokChoy. She took a bunch and removed two
leaves that were bad from the vegetable. Next thing she knew she was
approached by the produce clerk who screened and belittled her about
removing the leaves, saying thats our profit. I approached the
produce manager who basically told me the same, and the acting manager
was also condencending and not helpful. I will never shop at this
store again, and will advise my friends and family not to. Customer
service is very poor at this store. While talking to the Produce
manager the clerk who was rude to my wife was laughing, the manager
saw this and did nothing.
Happy Grocery Shopper in London, Ont. writes this customer review about Remark Fresh Markets.
I went to Remark today for the first time. I was very impressed with
the layout of the store, everything was well organized and neat. The
prices were reasonable compared to other stores of similar caliber
([competitor]). Welcoming atmosphere, staff was helpful and friendly and
them seemed happy (unlike alot of other stores, I find). They also had
alot of very unique gourmet food products that you wouldn't find at
your everyday grocery store. I will certainly be back!
