Upset in Vancouver, BC writes this customer review about Oakridge Shoe Repair.
The worse customer service I've ever received from the man that owns this store!!! He was rude, mean, and not helpful. I
brought in a pair of boots to get the soles and heel replaced because
they were getting worn down. He charged me $30 which I was fine and
willing to pay. However, when I received my boots back, it didn't look
smooth to me around the edges so I took them back to see if he could
just smooth the edges a little bit. He got extremely defensive blaming
it on me that it was because of how I walked and that he didn't do
those kind of boots. (Which he never told me that he didn't do those
kind of boots) I told him that if he couldn't do those kind of boots,
then why didn't he tell me instead of trying to repair my boots for
$30 and not do a good job and I would've took them somewhere else and
got them fixed for that amount and to someone that could fix them. I
was so upset at how he acted with his customer service considering I
work in the service industry and have NEVER been talked to so rudely
ever before and for him not to do a good job on top of that. I thought
it was convenient because I work in the mall but I will never take my
shoes there again and neither will my coworkers!
