I was in the market for a used car and the dealer I first saw
attempted to get me credit approval through Forbes Auto Financing. I
received a call from Forbes advising me that they would not finance
the car I wanted to buy as it had been classifed as a write-off by
I.C.B.C. and Forbes would not finance these type of purchases. I was
very dissapointed (at first) - but, lo and behold a very nice man
called me from Forbes and spent about 1/2 hour on the phone explaing
the ins and outs of financing and what I should be looking for in a
good used car, my vehicle purchase limit based on my income and my
monthly payments without undue stress on my budget. I proceeded to
"surf" for a car based on his outline. I then received another call
from Forbes telling me about a nice, clean, accident free used car on
a lot - the owners name and where the lot was located so I could have
a test drive. I went, saw, drove and decided to buy as it was (is) a
great car. Forbes arranged to have my financing and insurance done on
the spot and tada I drove out of the lot with my "new to me" car. I
am so pleased with the whole experience and have highly recommended
Forbes Auto Financing to others who are in the market as I have heard
many horror stories about finance companies but my experience has been
nothing short of A-one!! And, I love my new car - Thanks Forbes and
all the people who work there.
