Zena's was the first and only bridal store that I visited in January [2010]
to pick out my wedding dress for my November wedding. I have dealt
with Zena's in the past and I can say that the service was
faboulous! The ladies listened to what style of dress that I wanted
and how I wished to look. They then went about picking out dresses,
and found the perfect dress, extactly what I wanted! Simple yet very
classy and the price was very reasonable. I also picked up my veil
there and shoes. I have had my first fitting, and the seamtress is
amazing! Her years of experience show, it took very little time to
pin what needed to be altered.

Zena's was the 5th bridal store I had been to, and I had tried on
tons of dresses, and still hadn't found "the one".
When I walked in, I described to the salesperson what kind of dresses
I liked, what I was looking for, and she said "I have exactly the
dress for you" went and got it for me, I tried it on, and that was it!
It was PERFECT! So I bought it then and there and walked out with it!
It was exactly what I had been looking for and the price was
phenomenal. I could not have gotten something better if I had custom
ordered it! I also got my tiara and veil there, and I could not be
happier. Also, the seamstress there is simply amazing. She can
literally do anything.

I had such a great experience at Zena's. Bev listened to what I
wanted and wasn't pushy. The price of the dress didn't matter to her
which I liked. She provided great advice and allowed myself, mum and
cousins to pick out dresses for me to try on. In the end the last
dress that I tried on. one which Bev picked out was the ONE! She
was great. My cousin had also got her dress at Zena's which is why I
checked them out. Another bonus was the that dresses are reasonably
priced.

They are terrible at customer service. Long story short, they screwed
up one of my bridesmaids dress order by ordering the completely wrong
size. Which would have been fine if they had apologized, offered some
sort of compensation for the extra headaches and trips from out of
town, etc. But not even a simple apology. Because the bridesmaid
dresses came in late to begin with (double the amount of time they
told me) there was less than a month for them to get a rush shipment
for another dress. The new dress came only a few days before the
wedding and my bridesmaid had to take time off work as soon as they
called her so she could have her fittings (which they said would be
free, and then decided that they weren't). They acted as though it was
no big deal that my bridesmaid was just getting her dress 2 days
before the wedding and felt that no compensation was due to anyone but
them. Talk about an unnecessary headache!
In my many times in the store before my wedding I saw countless
brides that were upset with the dress store, but I thought they must
be over-reacting about something silly. I shouldn't have been so
naive.
