To me defamation means the telling of lies about someone and as far
as I can recall I have not done so.
Under threat of legal action against me for alleged defamation of
CompuCampus College I have been asked to issue an apology. I feel that
everyone that I may have influenced should know that I have
apologized.
I apologize for exercising my right to make a report to the Better
Business Bureaus.
I apologize for exercising my right to express my opinion to the
local newspaper and on the online Complaint Board.
I apologize to your client for reporting him to the Ministry of
Training, Colleges and Universities, so that they found him guilty of
several infractions of the PCC Act of 2005.
I apologize for informing prospective students about the PCC warning
that is already on the Internet on the MTCU website.
I am sorry for any embarrassment felt by him because I also felt
embarrassment stemming from the fact that I worked my backside off for
eight months getting a 92% average in a program that provided me with
no employable skills.
Thus I have also lost my projected future earning potential.
Think of what I could have achieved if it were the up-to-date
technology that I was promised by the college advertisements.
I apologize for trying to be helpful while a student of your client:
Pointing out to the administrator that there were mistakes in a
PowerPoint Presentation that was being used for one of their modules.
That there was no Quick Time or Sound application that was needed
on my computer so I could adequately complete my lessons.
That QuarkXPress was not activated on the computer and since I need
hands-on experience I couldn’t pretend that I would know how to
operate it as requested.
I apologize for asking on the Internet if there are any other
complainants. I do not know very many people in your city and have
notified only those institutions that I felt should be alerted to my
concerns.
I apologize for feeling like a victim and trying to defend myself.
I apologize for feeling that the administrator’s demeanor towards me
was callus, disdainful and arrogant, while the rest of the staff was
friendly, warm and accommodating to me.

CompuCampus College is a scam! They used outdated obsolete software
and books. They also didn’t provide me with the twenty hours of weekly
class time that was promised.
I notified The Ministry of Training,
Colleges and Universities about them. There are two restraining orders
and one financial penalty against them because of my report. On the
ministry website, it says that I didn't get any employable skills from
my Graphic Design Program. Don't believe me! Go to
www.ServiceOntario.ca ; (Services for Residents; Topics; Education and
Training; Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities; Private
Career Colleges; Warning: PCC Violations). See for yourself! They had
withheld my diploma because of my complaints to them, but were forced
by the MTCU to give it to me. They were penalized financially, they
had offered modules without qualified instructors, they had to change
the misleading wording on their website, they threatened to
retroactively mark some of my courses as fail; their relocated London
campus was up and running without the necessary approval, and offering
vocational programs without being approved at that location. They are
under ministry surveillance until July 30, 2010. Do not go there! Mine
was not the only outdated programs there, but apparently no one else
seems to have complained to the ministry. Otherwise there should have
been warnings on the ministry site before. I have notified the Windsor
and London Better Business Bureaus, The Windsor Star, Sean O’Shea,
Dale Goldhawk, The Ontario Ombudsman and my local Member of
Parliament.

Disappointed College Student in Windsor, Ont. writes this customer review about CompuCampus College of Business Technology & Design.
Do not attend this college. Everything they claim is the opposite,
and nothing is as advertised. You would be better off to stay home and
study off the internet for whatever you want. Just trying to give
everyone a heads up. If I knew then what I know now I would have NEVER
attended this money grabbing Coumpucamus college.
