Disappointed in Guelph, Ont. writes this customer review about Diaper Days.
We have been happy with their products but very disappointed with
their prices and service.
I bought a wooden highchair from them a few weeks ago. They only had
a floor model of the one I wanted, and they asked if I wanted to order
a new one in. I said no, since I didn't want to wait 6 weeks. I told
them we had a dining room table custom made, and I wasn't sure about
the height. I asked twice to make sure that I could return (or at
least exchange) the highchair if it didn't fit the height of our
table. They said yes. I douel checked again since it was a floor model
and had some slight scratches. They said yes (note - I did not receive
any discount for it being a floor model). I took the highchair home,
and it didn't fit our dining room table. So the very next day I went
back to the store. They refused to take the high chair back and
refused to give me store credit. They said it wasn't in saleable
condition because of the few scratches from it being the store model
(note - they sold it to me the day prior). I was absolutely shocked. I
refuse to shop there anymore - I'm saying this after spending way too
much money there on stuff for our expanding family. I'm shocked that a
store that targets families doesn't have family friendly policies.
Nearly all my friends have had similar experiences. Shop online if you
can - the prices are better, and (believe it or not) returns are
easier.
