Unhappy RVer in Lavigne, Ont. writes this customer review about Joli Voyageur Resort & Campground.
I have to give this campground and thumbs down. It advertised premium
lots and premium campsite and campgrounds with modern facilities and
this is nothing like it has been described. We had such an
uncomfortable and negative stay at this campground. It was dirty,
loud, small,with no modern facilities. The shower area brick was
cracked and when taking a shower you can see outside. The pool was
never opened up when I was there, the docking area was incomplete and
dangerous. The owners were constantly learking around the sites and
causing uproars and making my stay unbearable that we cut it short,
acutally because I had brought up some concerns - the owner asked me
to leave, so we did. They are advertising 30 amp service and when I
put on my air conditioner to my brand new RV the breakers kept
popping. They did not have enough amps to service the trailers. The
owner guaranteed quiet and serene - only to find that the campsite in
questions was like a playground - children all over the place and dogs
running around with leashes. Not highly recommended and will never
return back and will not recommend to anyone else. We have stayed in
several other sites and this one is the worst or the worst - trust me
we are avid RV campers and have seen a lot of cleaner and modern
sites. This is not the one.
