Dissatisfied in Kitchener, Ont. writes this customer review about King Tower.
I lived there for a year during my university career, never had any
problems with other tenants or the superintendents until I moved out.
On my last day there, the superintendent tried telling me that my
floors were not clean enough (while holding an invoice showing they
were steam cleaned) even though I kept my apartment incredibly clean
(it was spotless). She would not complete the inspection with me, so I
left it at that. Six months later I get a call from a collections
agency claiming I owe them over $400 in cleaning charges, yet could
not provide me with any evidence, such as pictures of how "dirty" I
left the place. I spoke with a lawyer, who informed that they were
breaking multiple laws. The situation is not yet resolved, as neither
Boardwalk/Kings Tower nor the collections agency are cooperating, but
I've gotten enough legal advice to know that what they are doing is
very wrong.
I DO NOT recommend Kings Tower, especially for students, as they
believe you are "young and stupid" and will do what they can to take
advantage of it.
