Scribblers' Club is a company which offers "borderless media
strategies." At best, they offer over-priced [search-engine]-driven marketing
strategies and ego-inflated design that is both out-of-date and
typical. The owner of the company Eric, is a self-proclaimed
expert who needs to learn to listen to his clients, instead of letting
his ego guide him in his "creative" pursuits.
One look through the Scribblers' Club portfolio clearly demonstrates
the nature of design; recycling the same tired imagery and effects
again and again.
As a former client I am unhappy with the way that the Club operates.
Be prepared for a bill that is larger than quoted. The company will
not notify you if you have reached the limitations of the agreement,
and things turn sour quickly when one argues with the new inflated
price.
I would not recommend Scribblers' Club. In conversations with other
past clients, it seems the end result is the same; mediocre design and
a bad taste left in your mouth after the owner tries to place blame on
the client for asking for what they paid for.
If you've heard of [competitor] in Kitchener, I would definitely
suggest that they're a better optionl experiences with them have been
much more pleasant and satisfactory.
