Yes they( nighthawk) are scammers, despite i had done training with
them the certificate given by them does not have any meaning.
If you want to work for security company the genuine company wants
you to do training with them and immidiately after the training they
give you confirm assignment. I wasted my $250 with Nighthawk, but when
I went with other company they did not ask me any money they simply
provided me traing after I passed their initial IQ test and provided
me Job.
I saw their ad in news paper and went their personally.
be aware of companies like Nighthawk they are here only to fool the
new immigrants or people who have been laid off who are
sincere, hardworking and want to make living by earning money and are
not like others who live on social assistance.
Tony in Hamilton, Ont. writes this customer review about Night Hawk Corp.
Night Hawk Corporation told me I'd have to take another Government
test costing over $600.00 inorder to be properly certified with
smart-serv. However
there are people still working with the lder government test. This
seems like a rip-off. I already paid $250.00, but was unable to secure
a job.

Not Impressed in Mississauga, Ont. writes this customer review about Night Hawk Corp.
The location I was asked to attend was at 33 City Centre Dr, Suite
A303, Mississauga, ON by the Square One Shopping Centre. I was called the morning of the interview and booked in the same
afternoon.
I was sat down in front of a man by the name of Paul who
tried his best to be intimidating and present himself as a
representative of a large corporation. He failed to introduce
himself, and never gave his title and position with the company (it
would scare away applicants if he gave out '* Recruiter'
freely). I was sat down with another
applicant and we were asked to give a brief comment about ourselves.
We were then asked why we chose to work as a security guard without
any relative background in the industry. These were standard
questions, as he didn't really care what was said. I could have said
that I wanted a job where I could sleep the entire shift and he'd
continue to go gung ho on his sales pitch.
The man continued with his monologue in a fast paced manner,
explaining the security industry and how he had 90 jobs to fill...
blah blah blah. He continued for approximately 5 to 7 minutes (I felt
sorry for the other applicant I was with, because english was not his
first language). He then advised that in order to set us up with
their online "portal" or "*" of the security world for
employers to find employees, we would have to complete a two-day
training course and fork over $250 (GST included). He gave me the
option of paying a $100 deposit and the rest of the money on the
weekend when I would be available for the course.
When I advised I would be busy that weekend and asked for the weekend
after to attend the course, he refused and said that he books people
on a mandatory basis... kind of odd if he's desperate to fill 90
positions. After I questioned him again about another time slot for
the course, he mentioned he might have space in the Toronto location a
few weeks down the line and still asked for the $100 deposit.
I decided to leave, as I knew there was something sketchy about the
whole thing.
Scammed Immigrant in Toronto, Ont. writes this customer review about Night Hawk Corp.
I am new immigrant here in Toronto. I went to nighthawk security
academy after appointment. The way appointment was given looked
genuine. After i paid them 250$ they asked me to sit in the training.
Completed the training with 99% then no contact by them. They are not
a security company. They are just running office and earning money by
deceiving people. No one should give them single penny. I think I
should open academy as well and print certificates like Nighthawk
academy does. This is very good business. 5 to 10 people agree to give
them money and they make about 2500$ daily. In return what they are
giving nothing. Baseless promises for job placement and
contacts etc. etc. I now understand that this society even does
"Fraud" like this. I had high hopes but know i understand true colors
of this society as well. Companies have no ethics. Shame of such
people and such companies.

I went in for an interview with Night Hawk Corporation and found that
the secretary was constantly on the phone booking new appointments but
would only take these apointments a day in advance and once I got in
for my interview, I was in there with a woman, single mother working
another full time job already. The interviewer asked us to tell him
about ourselves then proceeded to talk about how the security world
has changed and told us about the 80$ security license fee to the
government and then an additional 250$ payment for the two classes
that would be taught by a 17 year veteran of the toronto police force.
Upon hearing him ask for money I went home to check online and found
the bad reputation, and apparent scam. Made me feel sorry for the
people that kept the secretary busy. Their Office was in 33 City
Centre Drive Floor 3 Room 303. Keep away if you know what's good for
you.
Scammed in Toronto, Ont. writes this customer review about Night Hawk Corp.
The company is not an employer nor a hiring agency but an academy
that teaches security courses and asks people to pay money upfront.
The company has falsely advertised to provide jobs when it is not an
employer nor hiring agency.
As a victim of this scam, I found this company has many violations at Advertising Standards Canada, and BBB.
