I was over charged and sold fresh orange juice that was 8 days
expired. When discussed with the business, they didn't want to
discuss it, didn't provide a refund and put the phone down on me.
We visited a couple of days later to see if they were still selling
the expired product, and they were.
Also, they were issued an Environmental Health Order by the Calgary
Health Region in 2007:
IN THE MATTER OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH ACT – ALBERTA
ORDER OF AN EXECUTIVE OFFICER
To: Fortress Junction Service Ltd

(the “Owner”)
Re: Those Premises located in Kananaskis, Alberta and municipally described as:
Fortress Junction Service Ltd
Part of Township 21 Range 9 West of the 5th Meridian
Kananaskis, Alberta
WHEREAS I, an Executive Officer of the Calgary Health Region, have inspected the above noted premise pursuant to the provisions of the Public Health Act, RSA 2000, c. P-37, as amended;
AND WHEREAS such inspection disclosed that the following conditions exist in and about the above noted premise which are or may become injurious or dangerous to the public health or which might hinder the prevention or suppression of disease, namely:
a. Water in the distribution system may be unsafe for human consumption as indicated by unsatisfactory drinking water sample on April 11, 2007.
AND WHEREAS such inspection disclosed that the following breaches of the Public Health Act and the Nuisance and General Sanitation Regulation, Alberta Regulation 243/2003, exist in and about the above noted establishment, namely:
a. The presence of total coliforms and E. coli bacteria in the water sample taken on April 11, 2007 are in contravention of Section: 11 “Where a person provides a source of water that the person intends to be used or realizes or ought to realize will be used by the public for human consumption, the person shall ensure that the water is potable.”
AND WHEREAS by virtue of the foregoing, the above noted premises are hereby declared to be under a boil water advisory;
NOW THEREFORE, I hereby ORDER and DIRECT:
1. That the Owner immediately undertake and diligently pursue the completion of the following steps and work in and about the above noted premises, namely:
a. Post boil water advisory signs that have been issued by Calgary Health Region to all water fixtures that are accessible to the public. These signs must remain in place until the drinking water is deemed safe for human consumption by an executive officer of the Calgary Health Region.
b. Ensure that all food processing and preparation in the kitchen is done with potable water from an approved source or with water that has been boiled for one minute.
c. Disconnect any pop/juice fountains and ice machines supplied by the water source in question.
2. The work referred to in paragraph 1(a) to and including 1(c) must be completed immediately.
3. The above noted premises shall remain under a Boil Water Advisory until notified by an executive officer of the Calgary Health Region.
