Let Down in Waterloo, Ont. writes this customer review about C & M Income Tax Services.
I was audited by Revenue Canada and had to refile 6 years of income
taxes. I contacted C&M's "Cindy" in Clinton, Ontario. I had a meeting
with Cindy, who agreed to refile. As directed, I gathered all the
info I had for all those years and brought it to Cindy.
My documents, receipts, returns, etc sat in her office for over a
year and a half, without any work being done on my returns. When I
would check in with her, she would promise to begin working on my
case, but never did. She didn't answer phone messages, FAX, etc.
She also refused my requests to return my paperwork to me. I finally
had to drive the 2 hours to her office to pick them up. (I am 72 and
winter driving conditions are treacherous in that area).
When I finally was able to personally retrieve my papers from her,
she had no reason, no excuse, no explanation, just a weak "sorry".
I would never, ever return to C&M for ANY work.
