I recently bought the Brilliant brand of "Indonesian Shrimp Chips" in
a Chinese supermarket. It comes in a green bag with a picture of
authentic Indonesian shrimp chips on it. However, the product inside
is completely different from what is advertised on the bag. I have
eaten Indonesian shrimp chips all my life. My uncle regularly sent
them to us from Indonesia. They are hard chips that you can deep fry
yourself. I'm familiar with the colour, texture, flavour, and
appearance of a variety of Indonesian shrimp chips, and the Brilliant
product is completely false. For someone who has eaten the real chips
before, the Brilliant product is a huge disappointment. Their
advertising is misleading, and it should be changed.
