Cindy in Stony Mountain, Man. writes this customer review about Mountain Do or Dye.
I think Stony could use another hair
salon.
I go to [competition] now and am very happy with the service I get
there. I'm sure all the small town salons are the same and treat
their customers on a more personal level. I went to the Mountain Do
or Dye a few times but did find it kinda pricey and must agree if you
wanted to know the latest gossip you only had to sit there for five
minutes. I would absolutely try a new salon in town and give them a
chance. After all we should try to support our local businesses if
possible.
Michelle in Stony Mountain, Man. writes this customer review about Mountain Do or Dye.
I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion. Since the Mountain Do
or Dye is the only salon in town its hard to compare it to another. I
think this town could use another hair salon that is more family
oriented and the prices aren't as ridiculously high. Competition is
always a good thing. Hmm, who knows. Maybe something
will open up in the Mountain Do or Dye's old location.
Heather H in Winnipeg, Man. writes this customer review about Mountain Do or Dye.
Even the city people choose The Mountain Do or Dye over the countless
choices in the city. I would not see anyone but Joanne for my hair
cuts, therefor am happy to drive thirty minutes to her salon and will
continue to do so no matter where her salon is!

Friend of the Owner in Stony Mountain, Man. writes this customer review about Mountain Do or Dye.
I've have been going to the Mountain Do or Dye since it opened in
Stony Mtn. Over the years I have become friends with the owner as well
as her employees.
This past year was hard for Joanne and her staff due
to some badly handled lease issues. She was forced to either bend to
* new lease terms or fold her very successful business.
This would have not only hurt her and her lively hood but also those
loyal customers as well as the economy of Stony Mountain itself.
So, while she was in a bind she chose to do the best she could.
Yes, the trailer salon is not ideal but it is temporary. Wait and see,
in the very near future there will be a fantastic new salon on her own
property and Joanne and her staff will continue to supply the best of
care to those who choose to be taken care of by the very best.
If you are looking for a salon of the upper crust I am sure the
hoity toity places in Winnipeg will be more than willing to open their
doors. Bring your cheque book, be prepared to experience cool,
restrained, anonymous customer service, if that is what you want.
For those of us who want to come out looking great, feeling great
and knowing that we are always welcome, we will be back, no matter
what, no matter where. Keep up the good work, Mountain Do or Dye.
The Mountain Do or Dye, most fun, most endearing, salon experience
one can have in a trailer! You really can be trailer trash with class!
Lighten up people! Hair Salon Customer Fantastic experience. Love the
"real" service. Highly recommend this salon.
Jennifer B in Stony Mountain, Man. writes this customer review about Mountain Do or Dye.
A perfect pampering haven in Stony Mountain, MB! After having
visited many salons, across different provinces, Mountain Do or Dye is
a "cut above the rest!" A place to feel at home and relaxed. With
the hustle and bustle of every day life, it's so wonderful to be
treated like a princess, and walk out with amazing hair at the end.
It's a one stop pampering station including hair, esthetics, and even
massage or tanning. The salon owner was nominated for "Woman
Entrepreneur of the Year" in 2008. Congratulations on the up and
coming new building. Thank you so very much for not closing your doors
while the construction begins on the new lot! Looking so forward to
our next visit.
Moving On in Stony Mountain, Man. writes this customer review about Mountain Do or Dye.
This so called salon certainly does not
pamper you -its nothing but a loud gossip centre and they've recently
moved from a rather nice salon into a crappy old trailer. Who wants
to get "pampered" in a trailer!!! No thanks. I'm moving on.
Offended in Stony Mountain, Man. writes this customer review about Mountain Do or Dye.
After frequenting the Mountain Do or Dye as a regular customer for
quite some time, I am appalled at the unprofessional conversations
that go on in that salon.
I am there to get primped and pampered not
to listen to a bunch of gossip and vulgarities coming out of the
owner's mouth. They bad mouth other people who live in the town.
Shame on them - I won't be back and I wouldn't recommend that place to
anybody.
