I went to N & T last week. I have always been chickeny about dying my
black hair to whitish platinum blonde highlights with a chocolate
brown base.
I finally decidede to go, I went in on Saturday with a
picture of what i wanted to achieve at the end. I showed Jenny ( the
owner ) without barely even looking at the picture she assured me that
she could get the colors i wanted but it would be a timely process
4hrs to the maxx. I went in sunday afternoon, i got there at 1 she
first stripped my hair color and then applied VERY FEW blonde
highlights ( the picture had A LOT of blonde highlights and very
seldomenly you could view the base color) she left me sitting in the
chair from 2 - 5 with my hair color on. At 5 she applied my base color
on. She then washed my hair. It came out being yellowish / orangeish
but my base was really nice. One thing i noticed is that i had
highlights on teh top of my head but i could barely see any on the
lower part of my hair. She then put a toner on my hair to bring down
the orange and make my highlights more whitish platinum blonde. I sat
in the chair for another 1hr it was now 730. She finally washed my
hair blow dryed it and straightened. My overall look was NOTHING CLOSE
to the picture i had presented her with. My base was chocolate brown
with a few brassy highlights at the top of my head and maybe like 4
highlights in total at the bottom of my hair. It looked so bad. I
asked her what she did and was tired from 8hrs at the salon with her.
She said some stuff and made me pay the $200.00. I walked out wanting
to cry not because of just the money i paid for a * job but
becuase i had spent all that time and my body was aching. I DO NOT
reccommend this salon.
