Regarding a customer service PROBLEM, our family hired Cataraqui Granite to install a new counter at our
cottage on Wolfe Island. The business owner came to the location and
measured - after some time the counter tops were installed and upon
inspection a measurement flaw was noted and the counter top needed to
be replaced. We contacted them by phone and email sending pictures as
well. After several weeks of trying to have them return our call we
finally spoke and they agreed to return to our location confirm the
error and make the necessary repairs. They promised to have the matter
dealth with quickly. 3 weeks later we called them to inquire when they
would be arrving only to find out that they would not be arriving for
another 3 weeks. When pointing out that this time line was not
acceptable, and that we wanted to speak to the business owner, thier
reply was that he did not work on Fridays, and that the date which was
set was not negotiable.
Thier office manager Christine was rude and showed little
respect or appreciation for our frustration and told us not to argue
with her.
She needs to attend a customer service class asap.
