Buyer beware! We have had a horrible experience with Granite Direct
in Edmonton. We had to pay all of our money up front and they have
had our money since July 2010 (it is now Jan 2011) and we still do not
have our granite. They started to install substitute granite without
telling us, they told us to come in and re-order and now they refuse
to speak to us or to return our money. They measured it wrong to
start with, they were rude on the phone. We have gone to the BBB and
Service Alberta and my next step is to take them to small claims
court. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. They have all
our money and we have nothing. As far as I am concerned this is the
same as stealing from someone - it is appalling that a business can do
this and now the customer has to fight to get their money back. I
would like to know if there are others out there with problems with
this company.
